About the OpportunityAs the Principal Consultant your role will:
- Be required to advise and add value to the coordination of a variety of HR initiatives and operational functions across the business in order to deliver timely, accurate and high-quality solutions and outcomes for our workforce
- Be required to investigate and analyse issues, lead and influence others, use your ability to communicate complex concepts and make informed customer-led recommendations to senior and executive management.
About the Role
- You will be a highly organised individual who can work across boundaries, multiple initiatives and influence others to deliver clear, creative and future-focused advice in a dynamic environment.
- Working with broad direction on tasks that are of a complex or specific nature and act accordingly, making decisions that impact on the business unit and may also have significant effects elsewhere within the department.
- Developing and coordinating guidelines, rules, regulations, procedures or instructions for either staff or other interested parties.
About YouTo be successful in the role you will have the following experience and capabilities:
- Contemporary generalist HR experience - including knowledge of relevant legislation and directives, HR best practice and ability to quickly interpret relevant policies and procedures.
- Prepare HR reports, monitor workforce trends, analyse data and proactively initiate relevant action and discussions.
- Ability to cultivate productive working relationships at all levels of the organisation.
- Good written and verbal communication skills; including the confidence to present workshops to small groups and management.
- Nimble and agile; able to assist the team with tasks as necessary to meet deadlines and operational requirements.
- Management skills and the abilities necessary to monitor resource allocations, evaluate program effectiveness, manage staff and resources, formulate policy initiatives and develop corporate strategy proposals are usually required at this level.
