- Make an Impact! Main Line Health is seeking a skilled Epic Willow Ambulatory Analyst to join our team in implementing both a retail and specialty pharmacy within our healthcare system. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pharmacy operations and pharmaceutical revenue cycle management, coupled with comprehensive knowledge of Epic’s billing functionalities. As part of our Information Technology department, you will play a crucial role in configuring, implementing, and supporting the Epic Willow Ambulatory module to meet the specific needs of our retail and specialty pharmacy operations.

ESSENTIAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Provides support of multi-user Pharmacy based applications, including system build, facility-based formulary management, system configuration, training, maintenance, and support of these systems.
- Working knowledge of pharmacy clinical and billing workflows as it relates to cardiology, radiology, and other clinical areas is required.
- Represents IT and Pharmacy on the System Pharmacy and Therapeutics as it relates to Physician order set, medication formulary and clinical system implications.
- Responsible for maintenance and build of clinical and formulary information in Pharmacy information and automation systems along with assuring compliance with regulatory agencies.
- Responsible for table file build, routine order set management, system set-up procedures, and ongoing maintenance and support of all Pharmacy systems and the integration with automation and other clinical applications.
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum of 3 years recent healthcare information systems or clinical management systems experience.
- Epic experience preferred. Large scale healthcare systems planning and implementation experience on application software products.
- Familiarity with Pharmacy formulary distribution and billing systems.
- Working knowledge of computerized reference databases such as MicroMedex, Clinical Pharmacology, Facts & Comparisons.
- Working knowledge of applicable pharmacy order entry and dispensing automation systems. Experience with other pharmacy systems a plus.
- Up-to-date knowledge of drug laws and agency regulations, including but not limited to DEA, FDA, OSHA, TJC, PA DOH, and Pennsylvania Board of Pharmacy.
- Up-to-date knowledge of drugs carried on Formulary and new drugs introduced to the market.
- Provides support of multi-user Pharmacy based applications, including system build, facility based formulary management, system configuration, training, maintenance, and support of these systems.
EDUCATION:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant clinical or Information Technology experience required. Bachelor’s degree in related healthcare or information systems discipline preferred.
