Location: Swindon
Rate: £180-200 per day

JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are seeking a skilled EPOS Rollout Engineer to oversee the deployment and support of electronic point of sale (EPOS) systems across multiple retail locations. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with large-scale EPOS rollouts, ensuring seamless installation, configuration, and user adoption.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Proven experience in managing EPOS rollouts, ideally in a retail or hospitality environment.
  • Strong proficiency in EPOS hardware and software configuration.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot issues on the spot.
  • Strong communication skills, capable of providing clear instructions and support to end-users.
  • Knowledge of security standards and compliance requirements related to EPOS systems.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a larger rollout team.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and execute the rollout of EPOS systems across multiple sites, including the installation and configuration of hardware and software.
  • Conduct site surveys to assess requirements and plan installations.
  • Perform pre-deployment testing to ensure system reliability, efficiency, and security.
  • Provide on-site support during the rollout to resolve any issues promptly.
  • Train staff on the use of new EPOS systems, ensuring they are comfortable and proficient with the technology.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any post-deployment issues, minimizing downtime and disruption.
  • Implement and monitor security measures to protect sensitive data and ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Integrate EPOS systems with existing business software, ensuring seamless operation.
