APTITUDES ET QUALIFICATIONS

  • Disponible pour travailler à n’importe quel quart de travail, y compris le matin, l’après-midi, le soir et la nuit;

  • Le poste nécessite de bien s’exprimer, lire et écrire en anglais et en français.
  • Pouvoir travailler lors de tous les quarts (matin, soir, fin de semaine et pendant la nuit)
  • La minutie et l’aptitude multitâche sont importantes.

The Four Seasons Hotel Montreal is looking for someone who shares our passion for excellence and seeks to create a memorable experience for our emplo yees and guests. We are looking for a person who has a strong work ethic, a high level of integrity, a concern for quality, a cultural sensitivity and a sense of customer service.
Position Summary
The House Attendant ensures the cleanliness and perfection of the guest areas of the hotel and residences . They also support the Guestroom Attendants by ensuring guest room supplies are well stocked, trash and debris are removed as well as other c leaning duties as assigned. This person is also responsible for delivery of guest request items to guest rooms.

Core R esponsibilities

  • Keep all guest and residence corridors neat, vacuumed and dust ed;
  • Make sure mirr ors, furniture, floors , elevators an d doors are clean and mark- free;
  • Keep all service elevator landings, stairwells and linen storage rooms clean by sweeping , mopping and dusting the areas;
  • Move racks of clean room linen to guest room floors;
  • Stock Linen Storage Rooms and Armoires dai ly with supplies and amenities;
  • Empty trash and dir ty linen from guest room floors;
  • Assist Housekeepers as required . Help move beds and furniture, turn mattresses, r emove or hang sheers and drapes;
  • Pick up and deliver guest request items on a timely basis such as Irons, Ironing boards, Cribs and Roll- aways ;
  • Work harmoniously and professionally w ith co-workers and supervisors;
  • C arry out any other related duties as specified by your Supervisor;
  • Complies with Four Seasons’ Category One and Category Two Work Rules and Standards of Conduct as set forth in Employee Manual;

Desired Skills and Qualifications

  • Ability to communicate in French, both orally and in writing ( beginner level );
  • Previous housekeeping or janitorial exp erience in a luxury hotel ideal;
  • Knowledge of the various clean ing products and machines used is a plus;
  • Ability to push, p ull, lift and carry up to 50lbs;
  • Requires reading, writing and oral proficiency in French and English ;
  • Ability to work all shifts (mornings, evenings, weekends and overnight)
  • Attention to the details and abi lity to multi-task is important;
