Responsibilities:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Commercial Banking Underwriter to support our Vendor Finance group.

In this role, you will:

  • Participate in underwriting the creditworthiness of moderately complex commercial or business loan and lease requests
  • Perform periodic reviews on assigned portfolio credits while maintaining risk ratings and other relevant data on systems of record
  • Review and analyze basic business, operational, or technical assignments or challenges that require research, evaluation, and selection of alternatives, and exercise independent judgement to guide medium risk deliverables
  • Present recommendations for resolving more complex situations and exercise independent judgement while developing expertise within Equipment Finance Underwriting functional area, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements
  • Collaborate and consult with Equipment Finance Underwriting colleagues, internal partners, and stakeholders, including internal and external customers
