  • 3 years’ supervisory experience in a project environment (preferred)
  • Proven project management experience of 5-10 yrs in electrical industry (preferred)
  • Certification in Project Management (CAPM) or PMP would be an asset
  • CET or equivalent Electrical education/experience (preferred)
  • Critical thinking and problem solving skills are required
  • Ability to plan and organize effectively and has strong decision making skills
  • Effective communication, facilitation and strong negotiation skills
  • Must be detail oriented with the ability to multi-task
  • Salesforce (bFO) (asset)
  • Ability to travel (15%

Responsibilities:

WHAT WILL YOU DO?

Schneider Electric Sales Operation Team has an outstanding opportunity for a passionate/motivated individual to assume the role of Project Team Supervisor in our Mississauga location.

The Project Team Supervisor will coordinate, manage project timelines and track project deliverables using appropriate tools while managing a team of Project Managers.

  • Supervise a project team across a regional territory (Ontario)
  • Assist in the development, monitor and completion of training and development plans
  • Participate in hire process
  • Conduct employee goal and performance management activities and HR issues resolution
  • Lead the project team to manage and execute projects from order acceptance to completion
  • Manage resource allocation and day-to-day operational aspects
  • Provide direction & support to the project team
  • Plan and schedule project timelines and track project deliverables using appropriate tools
  • Ensure project deliverables meet company’s quality standard and contract requirements
  • Ensure project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately
  • Facilitate team and client meetings effectively
  • Develop relationships with client / consultant personnel that foster long term business ties
  • Follows up with clients, when necessary, regarding unpaid invoices
  • Suggest areas for improvement in internal processes along with possible solutions
