OVERVIEW

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Equipment Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical and electrical systems, with experience in HVAC, automotive repair, and the use of various tools. This role is essential for maintaining and repairing equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety standards.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Proven experience as an Equipment Technician or similar role in a dealership or industrial setting.
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, electrical systems, and automotive repair techniques.
  • Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment safely and effectively.
  • Ability to read technical manuals and schematics for troubleshooting purposes.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks such as lifting heavy objects and standing for extended periods.
  • A valid driver’s license may be required for operating company vehicles.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment, ensuring all systems operate efficiently.
  • Diagnose issues with HVAC systems, electrical components, and mechanical parts.
  • Utilize hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to assemble or disassemble machinery as needed.
  • Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot problems and develop effective solutions.
  • Conduct inspections and tests on equipment to identify potential malfunctions or safety hazards.
  • Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance schedules, and parts inventory.
  • Operate cranes and other heavy machinery safely when required for repairs or installations.
  • Assist in digging operations for installation or repair of underground equipment.
