We are looking to hire an Equities Client Solutions Support Specialist to support our client in Singapore which is a top global investment bank .
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- 3 - 5 years production support experience in Financial Services sector with exposure to Trading floor users
- Functional knowledge for Equity and Derivatives products including Pricing, Risk, PL calculation and trade lifecycle for supporting standard processes across Front and Middle Office.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills with ability to tailor messages to wide variety of people and functions across Technology and Business.
- Proficiency with troubleshooting principles and incident resolution for complex systems.
- Knowledge of ITIL principles with experience on relevant tools.
- Team player, client-focused and able to work independently in a time sensitive trading environment.
- Proactive, has initiative, diligent, hardworking. Willing to learn.
- Degree level qualifications in computer science, engineering or science based discipline.
- Strong technical background with hands-on experience in relational databases, Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, UNIX, Shell scripting and Middleware.
- Experience with ITRS monitoring, Java VM, and scheduling tools (Autosys, Cron).
- Knowledge of scripting or programming languages (Shell, Python) and source-control management systems (Git).
- Experience with analytics, automation and provisioning tools (Splunk, Elastic Stack, Ansible) and Networking.
- ITIL certification
Responsibilities:
- Deliver 1st and 2nd line support for Equity Derivatives and Delta1 Trading.
- Support and maintain production environment to ensure availability of critical services for daily operations of business. Partner with the global support teams, infrastructure and development teams to ensure quality support to our end users.
- Being the gatekeepers for the production environment, ensure all changes are understood and scheduled appropriately to maintain integrity of the services while implementing upgrades or new deployments (including emergency deployments) that are critical for business.
- Provide techno-functional expertise to produce and promote maintainable and quality solutions, which includes documenting system behavior, procedures and support run books.
- Report & escalate incidents to the appropriate chain of command with focus on business and technology communications to end users and senior management.
- Prioritize and troubleshoot functional issues in a complex financial environment, with various applications and architecture regionally and/or globally. Liaise with development and infrastructure and teams for efficient resolution of production issues.
- Carry out post incident review with development and infrastructure teams to ensure that the issue has been permanently resolved and to identify value add items. Respond to end users within timeframe dictated by the severity of the problem, and document and track the response.
- Provide continual service improvement of supported applications by managing and categorizing production alerts and reporting repeated issues.
- Focus on Operational Excellence - Automate recurrent tasks for continual service improvement and creation of resource bandwidth.
- Build and maintain relationships with business users and other stakeholders
- Work with BCP coordinators to perform disaster recovery exercises and assist with audits when called upon.
