Description:
ABOUT YOU
A self-motivated individual who works independently to exercise integrity and sensitivity in the fulfilment of the role. You will have experience of producing, analysing, interpreting, reporting on and presenting complex quantitative and where available qualitative data including action or work plans that drive change.
Detailed knowledge and experience of Athena Swan, the Race Equality Charter or similar equality charters is essential, alongside other relevant work experience.
Though not essential, you may have experience of working within the Higher Education sector, as well as developing and delivering training, briefings and seminars to a wide variety of audiences. You will have a proactive and flexible approach, using these skills to influence and negotiate as required.

In this role, you will play a key role in supporting and coordinating the University’s work towards achieving and progressing key equality charters and benchmarking activities, including Athena Swan and the Race Equality Charter. You will collect, analyse and present equality data for key activities such as annual Equality Information and EDI Annual Reports. Working with key stakeholders to provide tailored advice, guidance and support departments across the University in relation to Athena Swan submissions and implement effective initiatives and activities.
At the University, we are adopting an agile working approach which means that you’ll be both home and campus based.
