MAIN REPONSIBILITIES:

Kepler Cheuvreux Group is seeking for its office in Vienna an equity analyst dedicated to small and mid cap (SMID) and investment company research.
The successful candidate will be part of one of the leading equity research teams in Austria. He/she will play a decisive role to further develop our SMID franchise which is the broadest in continental Europe and will benefit from the access to one of the largest client base and sales force in the industry.
The equity research analyst conveys Kepler Cheuvreux strategic view, recommends stocks and helps generate commission on his coverage.

You will be in charge of:

• Research coverage of a set of listed companies within our SMID research universe ;
• Fundamental research including in-depth industry analysis, financial modelling & valuation in order to derive investment recommendations ;
• Write and publish financial research reports ;
• Present the findings to institutional investors and Kepler Cheuvreux equity sales force ;
• Active participation in analyst presentations, meetings with investors and ongoing service to buy-side counterparts ;
• Contribute and support the local and pan-European sector product ;
• Potential involvement in initial public offerings.

YOUR PROFILE & SKILLS:

The candidate should meet the following requirements:

• Strong analytical, financial modelling and interpersonal skills such as exceptional writing and communication ;
• Research relevant experience within financial institutions or in a similar role ;
• Dynamic and entrepreneurial ;
• It will involve working in a fast paced and demanding environment; hence we look for a team player who can work in a high-pressure environment ;
• It requires an individual who has strong interest and understanding of financial markets ;
• Business fluency in written and spoken English is required; Knowledge of German is an asset;
• You have between 0 and 3 years of experiences.
