Description:
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Education: 3/5 years IT or Finance Degree or equivalent (Finance is preferred)
- Experience: 3 to 5 years in Finance/Accounting position or IT consultancy with a specific focus on Finance systems.
- Solid financial skills, including well developed knowledge of finance processes
- Experience working as an ERP administrator for accounting, consolidation and reporting systems (i.e. IFS, SunSystems, Sage, SAP BFC, SAP BPC, Business Objects, etc.). IFS experience a distinct bonus.
- High level of spoken and written English.
- Good communication skills and analytical capabilities.
Important note: Temporary Position - 1 year contract
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the day to day operational support of the Group ERP IFS. This includes:
- BDR (Basic Data Records) management
- Reviewing intra-module dashboards and clearing integration issues
- Monitoring the flow of data between IFS and the legacy accounting system (SunSystems) until the process is de-commissioned.
- Following up with local teams to be sure all process dependencies are cleared in a timely fashion.
- Collecting information on current issues and pain points and coordinating with the appropriate stakeholders.
- Responsible for performing specific month end procedures in support of the financial closing
- Working with specialists from internal IFS technical support to help trouble shoot issues
- Working with Internal Control/IT Security to ensure IFS processes conform with ICOFR and ICOSIT controls. Produce reports for external auditors.
- Assist with User Access Management (UAM) processes to ensure alignment and avoidance of segregation of duties (SOD) issues.
- Involvement in internal projects such as the remaining scope of IFS implementation and ad-hoc continuous improvement initiatives
