ERP/CRM Consultant

We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for a Business Central Consultant in the manufacturing industry, located in Bellwood, Illinois. This role involves transitioning from a Unix based system to Business Central, working with a team that may require additional technical guidance. The workplace offers a hybrid working environment, and the role may require on-site presence 1-2 days per week.

• Successfully lead the conversion of the company’s system from Unix to Business Central.
• Work closely with the team to understand and address technical needs.
• Upload and manage data on the new system effectively.
• Provide technical support to team members who may be less technically savvy.
• Collaborate with the in-house IT personnel to resolve hardware-related issues.
• Leverage expertise in ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning and Dynamics 365 Business Central.
• Ensure all systems and hardware are functioning optimally on the new platform.
• Regularly monitor and update customer credit records.
• Efficiently process customer credit applications.
• Take appropriate action based on customer account monitoring.
• Possess strong knowledge and understanding of ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning systems.
• Proficient in popular software and applications.
• Experience with popular business management software is necessary.
• Demonstrated experience in managing and implementing ERP/CRM projects.
• Ability to provide consultancy and expert advice on ERP/CRM solutions.
• Strong problem-solving skills to effectively address and resolve issues that arise during project execution.
• Excellent communication skills to liaise with stakeholders and translate complex technical information into understandable terms.
• Must have a customer-centric approach and be able to work under pressure.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team as well as independently when required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field is preferred.
• Relevant certifications in ERP systems and/or popular software products would be advantageous.
