Description:
We are in the search for a Business Analyst, specializing in ERP systems, to join our team in the Manufacturing industry based in YORK, Pennsylvania. The role involves continuous implementation and upgrading of our ERP system, Epicor, and training of staff for optimal utilization. It also requires the candidate to work towards process improvements related to the ERP system and expanding its usage across the organization.
Responsibilities:
- Support the maintenance of the company’s multi-tenant hosted ERP System Epicor.
- Assist in optimizing the use of the Epicor system by setting up routines for various user roles and departments.
- Respond to requests and escalations from various users and key users for direct assistance with the use of the Epicor system.
- Develop proper routines, reports, dashboards for the ERP system.
- Collaborate with Department Managers and key company users about Epicor optimization.
- Ensure seamless transition and focus on data integrity while implementing changes to the Epicor System.
- Coordinate with the ERP Systems Manager regarding key issues and planned/integrated changes to the system.
- Maintain cooperative relations with vendors, company personnel, and management.
- Anticipate potential problems and provide contingency plans and recommendations.
- Manage personal schedule to maximize productivity and time management.
- Use SQL queries for report creation and data analysis.
- A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
- Proven work experience as a Business Analyst in the manufacturing sector.
- Proficiency in SQL and other data analytics tools.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team and with stakeholders across different levels of the organization.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated understanding of business processes and systems in the manufacturing industry.
- Familiarity with project management methodologies and experience in project planning.
- Ability to generate reports and present findings to management and stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to conduct cost/benefit analysis and business case development.
- Willingness to stay updated with the latest technological trends and innovations in the field of business analysis.
- Adept at using Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build and maintain professional relationships.
