ESCROW & PAYOFF MANAGER

POSITION SUMMARY:

Facilitate process workflow; create job aides and train in all of aspects of reviewing, confirming and entering the escrows, pre-paid items and payoff in accordance with company and program guidelines, policies and procedures.

• Knowledge of mortgage loan process.
• Knowledge of preparation and calculation of mortgage escrow accounts.
• Knowledge of preparation and calculation of payoffs.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and customer centric environment.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE:

• 2+ year of mortgage processing or closing experience is required.
• College Degree is preferred but can be substituted with recent mortgage closing experience.

Certifications, Licenses, and/or Registration

• Willingness and ability to obtain SAFE licensing (at company expense) is also required

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Manage the workflow/productivity of the Escrow/Payoff Analysts (EPAs).
• Lead training and job aids for Escrow & Payoff Analyst process in conjunction with the training team.
• Analyze reports from the loan originating system to improve processes and ensure SLAs are met.
• Be the subject matter expert for all escrow and payoff questions for internal and external stakeholders.
• Train new employees in the department on the company’s loan origination system.
• Ensure EPAs perform all tasks accurately and respond and course correct EPA work quality based on QA/QC results.
• Responsible for timekeeping ad performance reviews of direct reports.
• Other duties as assigned by management.
