REQUIREMENTS

  • Degree in Sustainability, Environmental Management or Real Estate
  • Experience in a similar sustainability role within the commercial property/real estate
  • Good understanding of sustainability principles, ESG reporting, and relevant certifications
  • Experience in sustainable building design, energy management and carbon reduction strategies
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Responsibilities:

THE ROLE

An exciting opportunity for a passionate and experienced professional to join our growing team. This is a crucial role where you will be driving and implementing sustainability initiatives across a diverse property management portfolio and support the wider business.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead the development of sustainability strategies for our property portfolios, ensuring they align with industry best practices and any regulatory requirements.
  • Identify opportunities and build momentum for energy efficiency improvements and carbon reduction across our managed properties.
  • Oversee and ensure compliance with relevant sustainability standards, regulations, and certifications.
  • Engage with clients, tenants, and internal teams to promote sustainable best practices.
  • Collaborate with the wider business to integrate sustainability considerations into building design and construction. Advise on sustainable materials, technologies, and general best practice.
  • Preparing management and board reports when appropriate.
  • Deliver training sessions and workshops for internal teams and clients to increase awareness and understanding of sustainability issues and opportunities within the commercial property sector.
  • Stay informed of the latest sustainability trends and regulations. Proactively identify opportunities for continuous improvement with the wider business and clients.
