Description:

ACCOUNTABILITIES:

As the ESM Data & Analytics Lead, you will be responsible for a wide range of analytics and data deliverables. This includes developing and deploying the local Analytics and AI strategy, coordinating analytics and AI discovery activity, and being the single point of contact for local analytics users and developers. You will also be responsible for data migration strategy for the function, data migration plans and reports for each trial/mock load, data defect logging, tracking and resolution, and much more.
The role holder will be responsible for:

ESSENTIAL SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:

  • Extensive Supply Chain knowledge
  • Extensive Business Process knowledge (incl. ESM Processes)
  • Extensive SAP ERP & MDG and APO/OMP and other system knowledge
  • Experience in BPM, LEAN and Quality Assurance Processes
  • Understanding data, process and system impact
  • Change and Project experience
  • Significant experience of operating in a global environment
  • Experience with strategic projects and initiatives across multiple sites/teams
  • Analytical, detail oriented, highly organized
  • Good interpersonal and coordination skills
  • Experience working with suppliers / CMOs
  • Ability to work with complexity and manage ambiguity

DESIRABLE SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

  • A degree or equivalent in Business, Logistics, Sciences or Engineering is preferred, equivalent experience will be considered
  • Experience in pharmaceutical and logistics environment
  • SAP ERP and APO/OMP user
  • Proven project delivery
  • Demonstrated continuous improvement
  • Demonstrated process standardisation
  • Cross-process knowledge
  • Safety Health and Environmental and GxP management knowledge
  • Project Management, Change Management
  • Knowledge of GMP and FDA regulations involving data management and validation requirements
  • Broader system knowledge e.g. EQV, S4 Hana, Java platforms, AWS

Responsibilities:

Join our External Supply & Manufacturing (ESM) team, where we are accountable for sourcing and supplying externally manufactured products into the AstraZeneca network. Our products range from APIs, Formulated & Packed products, devices and components sourced from suppliers located in several different countries and supplied to customers across all regions.
