ESOL Teacher Practitioner

ABOUT YOU

You are an excellent communicator, able to converse with ease and provide effective help or advice in accurate and fluent spoken English. Your understanding of equality issues and their impact on adult learning within the community is essential. You bring specialist curriculum knowledge and are familiar with the range of qualifications available for adults in your area of expertise. You have some knowledge of how to embed English, maths and ICT into learning programs and a strong commitment to safeguarding, creating a safe learning environment.
Holding a minimum Level 4 or above teaching qualification, or working towards one, is required. Additionally, you should have at least a Level 3 qualification in your area of specialism. A minimum level 2 English and maths qualification or a willingness to work towards it is necessary. Finally, you should be flexible and able to work at various locations across the Borough to meet the needs of our service.
