Description:
The Employee Programs & Services Specialist is responsible for directing employee services provided by vendors at Watkins Wellness Tijuana facilities and plants, with specific oversight over the cafeteria and transportation services. This position has a key role in promoting a positive and engaging work environment for our employees by ensuring “best in class” quality of these services, a high-touch customer service approach for our employees, and effective vendor relations management. 1. Monitor and evaluate the transportation and cafeteria services for employees and provide feedback and recommendations for improvement. 2. Handle employee inquiries, complaints, and suggestions regarding the transportation and cafeteria services, and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner. 3. Maintain and update records and reports on the transportation and cafeteria services, such as usage, costs, satisfaction, and performance. Coordinate changes to transportation routes due to shift changes, and worker movements between plants. 4. Coordinate and communicate with the vendors who provide the transportation and cafeteria services and ensure compliance with the contract terms and service standards. 5. Assist in the development and implementation of policies and procedures for the transportation and cafeteria services and ensure adherence to the company’s guidelines and regulations. 6. Manage other projects and / or support other Teams within the Human Resources Department, as may be occasionally assigned.
EDUCATION Bachelor’s degree in business administration, or related fields. EXPERIENCE Five years of experience performing in any of the following areas (or any combination thereof) is highly preferred: • Overseeing industrial cafeteria services and other third-party service providers. • Coordinating transportation activities with outside vendors. • Managing employee programs KNOWLEDGE • Microsoft Office, (Excel, Word, Power Point). • Knowledge of the current health and safety regulations for canteens is highly preferred. CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES Diplomas or specializations in administration (preferred) LABOR SKILLS Effective time management, leadership, customer service, results orientation, negotiation, teamwork, communication, decision making, conflict management. LANGUAGE ABILITY • Ability to speak English at a professional level is preferred. • Excellent written and verbal communication. • Must be able to communicate effectively across a variety of audiences including with Executives, Plant Directors, Managers and Supervisors, Employees, and Peers. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT • Must be able to regularly perform work duties on site, and have regular interactions with employees, supervisors and managers, and other members of the Human Resources Team. • Must be able to travel between multiple work sites and plants throughout the work day, via personally owned vehicle.
