ESS Electrical Facilities Engineer

Function : To carry out maintenance on plant equipment including Preventative and Corrective Maintenance.

• Carry out repairs, planned preventative maintenance, Corrective Maintenance and Continuous Improvement of facilities equipment as required
• Work on Facilities equipment including but not limited to Refrigeration Plant, Spiral Freezers, Coldstores, Chill Stores, HVAC, Boilers, CHP, Water Systems, Effluent Plant, BMS & automation controls, MV& LV Distribution, Lighting, Fire Protection systems, Compressed Air system, CCTV & Access Control, Building Fabric, Admin Area & Grounds
• Required to work over a broad range of skills including but not limited to mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, refrigeration, Computer work (software & hardware), PLCs, programming, Instrumentation, plumbing & General Maintenance
• Work on specific projects and continuous improvement projects as required
• Work in a safe, logical, diligent & proactive manner with minimum supervision required
• Work with and assist other departments/customers as needed.
• Co-ordinate, work with and assist contractors as required ensuring safety, quality and cleanliness of work carried out.
• Other duties as assigned by Supervisor/Management

Requirements :

• Must have an Electrical Qualification with some Mechanical Knowledge
• Previous experience working within a Utilities environment
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work on own initative.
• Must be available for shifts - days/weekends
