Job Title: Estates Maintenance Worker
Trust: The Walton Centre NHS Foundation Trust
Location: The Walton Centre, Lower Lane, Liverpool L9 7LJ
Shift Pattern: Monday- Friday, 8am-4pm 37.5 hours per week
Pay Rate: £ 12.86 an hour
Are you an experienced and skilled Electrician looking to make a difference in a healthcare setting? We have an exciting opportunity for a dedicated professional to join the Estate team at The Walton Centre NHS Foundation Trust. If you have a solid background in electrical engineering, with experience in fault finding and repairs, this could be the perfect role for you.
REQUIREMENTS:
· GCSE Maths & English (or equivalent) and NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Engineering/Installation via an accredited apprenticeship.
· Extensive experience in electrical maintenance within a healthcare environment.
· Familiarity with both hand and power tools, and ability to work from instructions without supervision.
· Proven experience in fault finding and repairs of basic electrical systems.
· Strong understanding of health and safety practices in the building and engineering industry.
· Physically fit, capable of working in challenging environments such as basements and plant rooms.
Responsibilities:
· Diagnose and repair faults in electrical systems (e.g., lighting circuits, power circuits, fire doors).
· Perform routine maintenance on electrical and mechanical plant equipment.
· Work collaboratively with other trades, healthcare professionals, and staff to ensure efficient service delivery.
· Interpret and work from instructions, drawings, and specifications without supervision.
· Adhere to health and safety regulations and uphold confidentiality and information governance protocols.
