The role will primarily cover the Ambleside and Barrow campuses and offer a strong voice in the operational undertaking of new builds and proposed developments, providing line management and leadership to the estates teams and supporting the Estates Operations Manager in operational delivery of the Estates and Property service.
The Estates Manager Central will provide management of property and assets in relation to the designated campuses. Ensuring maintenance requests through the job reporting and CAFM systems are carried out in a timely manner and requirements are met, and accurately recorded, in respect of the University’s mandatory compliance duties.
The Estates and Property service has significant profile within the University and a strong blend of personal and professional qualities are essential, particularly the ability to work constructively with a wide range of colleagues and stakeholders in pursuit of the University’s objectives and forward plans.
