Description:

We currently have a great opportunity available within the Estee Lauder and La Mer brand portfolio. The Community and Content Executive is responsible for the strategic development and execution of the brand’s activity on social media alongside general communications and public relations support.

This role takes ownership of the brand’s owned social accounts and so is responsible for content planning, development, implementation, community management and reporting. This position will have access to a range of confidential information and so will require the personal characteristics of discretion and integrity.

  • Create, curate, and implement social strategy in line with overall brand objectives and manage and drive performance across organic social channels to enhance brand awareness and increase engagement.
  • Content planning, development and execution – responsible for content planning and mapping, shoot content briefing of artists, influencers, and external partners to create content where required, edit content (static and video)
  • Ownership of owned social media content calendars
  • Community management on brand social channels– monitor conversation on brand social platforms, actively engage with the community and build and maintain a strong social community.
  • Work in partnership with Consumer Marketing Manager to support and nuture press and influencer relationships and management and maintenance of media lists. Proactive outreach and discovery of new talent.
  • Supporting the implementation of influencer and talent content on social and digital channels including briefing and execution.
  • Working to support the Consumer Marketing Manager on PR and Influencer events and product mailers.
  • Support all marketing and communication activity with a focus on the coordination of PR tasks including, including product call ins, press releases, sample management and communications calendar
  • Support marketing and wider brand team across key campaign priorities with social initiatives and content where required.
  • Reporting – track and monitor account performance, manage earned media coverage, report on performance as required and look for opportunities within data.
  • Managing all influencer reporting requirements such as post campaign analysis, influencer coverage and channel performance.
  • Maintain a close eye on competitive communities and platforms and provide proactive social listening feedback. Translate observations and insights into actionable opportunities for the brand
  • Continue to iterate our Brand’s Social Voice and aesthetic– ensuring everything we do from a consumer engagement perspective lives digitally
  • Liaise with Consumer Marketing Manager to launch new Brand social media platforms, as required

Brand Fundamentals:

  • Stay on top of the brand’s key attributes as seen by consumers, bloggers and influencers
  • Understand the Brand’s competitive landscape, how consumers experience the brand and key challenges to overcome and then utilize this information to adapt the Brand’s social/digital activities
  • Hold a thorough understanding of local consumer behaviors and preferences in the Digital/Social space
  • Stay up-to-date with and track digital / social marketing trends, competitor’s activity and potential new channels and strategies to keep us ahead, including updates to social media marketing, attribution, threats and opportunities
  • Act as role model for “Consumer first” and “Digital first” principles and keep the Brand team updated on developments in the social media space

Qualifications
This is an operational role, which requires someone with a solid understanding of the influencer landscape across beauty, wellness, fashion, luxury and lifestyle, how social communities work/behave and the ability to develop and foster new relationships.
Minimum 2-3 years’ experience in Digital Communications, Public Relations and/or Social Media in any of the following areas: retail, cosmetics, luxury goods, publishing, hospitality, travel or FMCG.
Comprehensive working knowledge of MS Office
