We are looking for a compassionate Esthetician/s to perform laser treatments, facial treatments, body and
hair removal such as tinting, waxing and threading, manicures and pedicures, make-up and lash
extensions application. The Esthetician will consult with clients to assess their requirements, make
informed recommendations and explain services, assist them to select appropriate treatments, and ensure
their care and satisfaction. The Esthetician will ensure treatments start and end on time. You will maintain
knowledge to promote and sell laser treatments and esthetics services. You will ensure work areas are
clean and tidy, equipment is sanitized and linens are clean at all times, and treat clients in a courteous and
empathetic manner.
To ensure success you should meet revenue goals, ensure client retention and build a solid client base.
Ideal candidates will be empathetic, reliable, caring and professional, and have the ability to make others
feel good about them.

ESTHETICIAN JOB DESCRIPTION:

Providing aesthetics services to client such as:
Facial Treatments
Eye Lash Extensions
Waxing/Tinting
Make-up Application.
Providing high-quality manicures and pedicures, paraffin treatments, which includes removing old
nail polish from fingernails and toenails, cleaning nails, shaping the ends of nails, pushing back
cuticles, and applying new polish based on clients’ preferences.
Applying artificial nails such us Acrylic Artificial Nails and Gel Sculpting Nails.
Recommending various nail designs and nail art to clients.
Evaluating the condition of clients’ nails and advising them on proper nail care and suitable nail
care treatments and answering clients’ nail-related questions.
Sanitizing all nail instruments and equipment before each use.
Ensuring that workstations are kept clean and orderly.
Ensuring that nail and massage supplies are adequately stocked.
Providing quality hand and foot massages.
The ability to concentrate for extended periods of time.
Detail-orientated and patient.
Excellent hand-eye coordination.
Effective communication skills.
Exceptional customer service skills.
Responsible for welcoming and greeting clients.
Build and maintain relationships with clients to encourage repeat nail appointments.
Maintain high standards of cleanliness and sanitation at all times.
Should be able to keep abreast of the latest nail products, trends, and techniques to ensure that
clients are satisfied with the services provided.
May book and rebook appointments as well as confirm spa appointments from time to time.
May extend hours when necessary and requested.

Help in spa cleaning, laundry, folding towels, tidying and disinfecting from time to time.

ESTHETICIAN REQUIREMENTS:

Please send complete portfolio (Sample works) while doing, manicures, pedicures, acrylic
extensions, Waxing, threading
Diploma or Certificate/s in Esthetics or Beauty Course.
Must possess CANS (Cosmetology Association of Nova Scotia) Licensure to practice as an
Esthetician.

ESTHETICIAN RESPONSIBILITIES:

Providing waxing, facials, body treatments, and makeup applications and lessons.
Adhering to appointments in a timely manner by monitoring time schedule.
Welcoming clients in a warm, friendly manner, accompanying them to and from treatment rooms,
and thanking them sincerely on departure.
Interviewing clients to obtain information about contraindications, and examining skin to evaluate
suitability of treatments.
Advising clients on skin care, and recommending suitable treatments and home care regimens.
Engaging and conversing with clients during sessions on topics relating to their interests.
Maintaining product knowledge to promote and sell spa and salon services, and retail products.
Adhering to esthetics policies pertaining to chemical usage, and cleaning, sanitizing and
maintenance of equipment.
Caring for linens and replacing them between sessions.
Ceasing treatment and informing supervisor in the event of inappropriate guest behavior.
