Description:
OVERVIEW
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Estimator Coordinator to join our team. This role is essential in managing the estimating process for construction projects, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in pricing and project management. The ideal candidate will possess strong negotiation skills, experience with construction estimating software, and a solid understanding of the construction industry.

· Proficient in MS Word / Excel / Outlook and project scheduling tools.
QUALIFICATIONS:
· College diploma in a technical discipline or equivalent landscape construction experience
· C.E.T./C.E.C. Designation preferred
· Landscape Construction Estimating 3 years preferred
· Landscape Construction Management 3 years preferred
· Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
· Strong analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills
· Able to excel in high pressure situations

- Legally able to work in Canada

Responsibilities:
· Assist in planning, coordinating and supervising construction activities.
· Determine the total cost of materials, equipment, utilities, and labour for construction projects.
· Estimate preparation for public and private projects including quantity takeoffs.
· Prepare estimates to meet project goals, such as setting work hours, sequencing tasks, obtaining materials, and securing the best pricing from vendors and subcontractors.
· Ensure compliance with the Occupational Health & Safety Act and Regulations for construction projects.
· Maintain and manage plans, specifications, cost, and material estimates, subcontract and related reports.
· Establish, monitor and initiate updates to, construction work schedules.
· Maintain accurate cost control plans by tracking daily progress.
· Coordinate procurement of construction materials.
· Track productivity and material yields.
· Employees may also be assigned other work as required.
· Efficiently manage the Contract submittal process.
· Effectively examine events, issues and problems to generate optimal solutions in a timely manner.
· Understands, tracks, and participates in the quality management procedures for the project.
