Description:
ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY:
We have an opportunity for an experienced Estimating Manager to join our collaborative, friendly and high performing Product & Brand team in Brompton, South Australia.
Reporting to the Group Product Manager, you’ll oversee the estimating function, leading a team of analysts, setting the team’s priorities, and supporting the wider business.
You’ll ensure quotes for new business are processed accurately and efficiently by managing workflows and providing feedback to Group Product Manager on data quality and improvements and handle direct estimating for complex and overflow requirements.
In addition, you’ll collaborate with the LaunchPad design team to develop packaging concepts for internal and customer projects.

Responsibilities:
IN TERMS OF SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES, YOU WILL:
- Manage the end-to-end estimating process to improve service delivery and optimise efficiency.
- Provide quotes for simple to complex items and tenders.
- Offer estimating services and generating quotes for internal stakeholders (Sales and Wider business).
- Maintain estimating systems by uploading costings.
- Manage estimating system workflow to meet business quote lead times.
- Work collaboratively with the team to drive continuous improvement initiatives, including integration and synergies between systems.
To be successful in the role, you’ll have:
- Proven experience in successfully leading and managing teams
- Estimation and planning experience within a manufacturing environment.
- The ability to work independently with minimal direction.
- Strong data entry and data management experience
- The ability to solve problems and navigate challenging situations.
- Resilience and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with quoting systems and the MS Office suite, particularly Excel
