FULL JOB DESCRIPTION

Beacon Building Services (BBS) provides repair, maintenance, refurbishment and fit-out services for residential, commercial & industrial sectors. Working directly with insurance companies, intermediaries, strata, property managers and government departments, BBS aims to exceed customer expectations by displaying an unrivalled commitment to excellence, outstanding service and quality workmanship.
And… We’re hiring! We’re currently on the hunt for a new experienced Insurance Estimator to join our team servicing Southern Suburbs/Sutherland Shire Regio. In this role, you’ll assess domestic and commercial insurance claims and provide accurate reports, scope of work, estimates and completed tender packages.

IN ORDER TO BE SUCCESSFUL YOU’LL -

• Bring a building related trade background and/or tertiary qualification in building & construction
• Have a strong understanding of the domestic and commercial industry and procedures – advantageous
• Bring transferrable experience gained in a similar role in the insurance industry
• Be a driven leader who will enjoy mentoring other members of the team and thrive on the opportunity to expand our business
• Be highly organized, have strong attention to detail and can prioritize accordingly
• Be able to think clearly, independently and creatively under pressure
  Please note: The successful candidate will also need to provide a national police check certificate & working with children card.
