JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Estimating Manager to lead our estimating team in the construction industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction estimating, project management, and negotiation skills. This role is crucial for ensuring accurate pricing and effective bid management, contributing to the overall success of our projects.

    Job Type: Full-time
    Pay: $18.00-$26.00 per hour
    Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week

Experience:

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the estimating department and manage the preparation of accurate cost estimates for construction projects.
  • Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to gather necessary information for bids.
  • Utilize software tools to create detailed estimates and manage project documentation.
  • Build strong relationships with subcontractors and suppliers to negotiate pricing and secure competitive bids.
  • Review and analyze bid proposals, ensuring compliance with project specifications and requirements.
  • Lead the team in developing innovative estimating techniques to improve efficiency and accuracy.
  • Conduct regular training sessions for team members on best practices in estimating and project management.
  • Monitor market trends and adjust estimating strategies accordingly to maintain competitiveness.
