POSITION SUMMARY:
Assist in preparing pricing estimates on new projects and estimation prices on change orders & on existing contracts. Participate in projecting and controlling costs by collecting and studying information. Create pricing schedules, develop bid proposals, and assess the technical aspects of the project. You may also help with risk analysis assessments related to the costs of the project.

KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS / ABILITIES:
- 1-2 years of experience in estimating the costing of projects is preferred
- Working Knowledge of excel spreadsheets and AQ (Auto Quotes)
- Understanding of Architectural documents (drawings and Specifications)
- Ability to read and interpret Construction documents
- Understanding of customer portals i.e. Building Connected, Procore and Invitely, etc.
- Knowledge and working capabilities with CAD
- Proven experience with attention to detail with an ability to focus on quality while being accurate
- Maintain professionalism when faced with multiple or aggressive deadlines
- Strong desire to win and be part of a winning Sales centric Team
- Dedicated , well organized, able to plan, prioritize, and manage multiple tasks

Responsibilities:
- Manage opportunities, and document on Bid Tracker and qualify opportunities
- Manage and update all aspects of Bid & Tender Tracker working closely with Account
- Manager(s) and Sales Management Team
- Maintain contact and relationships with Vendors and suppliers
- Prepare detailed cost quotes by analyzing plans and specifications
- Present drawings & specifications to Vendors and request quotations
- Record and compare bids.
- Analyze quotes and resolve discrepancies
- Organize and maintain centralized Bid and Quotation folder
- Manage addendums and updates
- Prepare bids in AQ (Auto Quotes)
- Liaise with Account Managers and Sales Management Team
- Work with internal Teams and utilize internal resources
- Meet deadlines with minimal supervision
- Submit quotes to all relevant parties.
- Follow up on opportunities and gather and track analytics
- Value engineer opportunities
- Attend Post Tender customer meetings when applicable and or “Site walks” as required
