York Marble Tile & Terrazzo Inc. was established in 1949 and is one of Canada’s oldest architectural stone fabricators and installers. Commercial Projects include Toronto Pearson Airport, Union Station, and Toronto Court House.
JOB TITLE: Estimator
JOB TYPE: 40 Hours per week, Full-Time, Permanent, Monday-Friday 8:30am-5:00pm
SALARY: $65,000.00+ (subject to experience)
BENEFITS: 10 Vacation Days, Company RSP Plan, Medical Benefits Plan (all after 3 months)

REQUIREMENTS / QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum 3 years experience as an Estimator
• Minimum 1 year experience as a Tile & Stone Estimator
• Experience in high rise residential and commercial construction.
• Post secondary Architectural/Engineering degree.
• Proficiency with estimating software (Planswift or similar)
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Excellent reading comprehension of blueprints, drawings, and specifications
• Fair understanding of Microsoft Excel
• Work well under pressure of meeting deadlines
• Attention to detail and resourceful
• Fluent in English
• Ability to work independently and with others as a team
• Knowledge of hard surface and stonework (not required but, a positive)
