DESCRIPTION OVERVIEW

This role will be responsible for promoting and monitoring ethical practices within Perrigo’s supply chain, while proactively ensuring we comply with Perrigo’s human rights commitments and ethical standards, as well as those of our customers.
This role will collaborate with our suppliers, customers, vendors and international businesses units to ensure ethical & social compliance within our US business, while providing input and expertise into the global ethical, social and sustainability strategy.
The successful candidate will be influential and able to build robust relationships across the supply chain; with Perrigo customers; internal stakeholders and external associations such as auditing companies.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in a compliance, supply chain or related discipline
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in business, compliance or supply chain
  • Strong project management and detailed tracking skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, especially with customers
  • High proficiency in MS Office including PowerPoint and Excel
  • A passion and aptitude for learning and staying at the forefront of the Ethical and Social Compliance arena

Preferred:

  • Experience with Sedex, BSCI, and other social auditing tools/standards is strongly preferred
  • Social auditing experience and/or an accreditation is desirable
  • International business experience is desirable

Responsibilities:

  • E&SC auditing program support: Engage suppliers, customers, procurement, project teams and other internal departments to coordinate and manage supplier Ethical & Social Compliance Programs.
  • This includes but is not limited to: coordination and management of social audits and the oversight and approval of corrective actions.
  • Administration of various E&SC related databases and systems, including: Sedex, UL CAPA Portal, self-assessment questionnaires, internal dashboards, project plans and more
  • Audit tracking, schedule management, status reporting, supplier scorecard input, and stage gate project support
  • Develop and deliver training programs to suppliers, internal departments, and other stakeholders as needed to promote compliance and continuous improvement, collaborating as needed with international peers
