Level Description
‘Management’ Leveling Guide consists of jobs with the responsibility, accountability, and decision-making authority to develop and implement strategies, initiatives, policies, and programs. The labels of Supervisor, Manager, Director, etc., are not limited to a distinct level (i.e., not all Senior Managers are level XX)– these are rough guidelines/indicators and not strictly assigned to a level.
Market Summary
Develops, implements, administers, and certifies compliance policies, procedures, and practices. Ensures alignment with legal and ethical standards of the organization. Provides compliance advice, investigates complaints, and verifies deficiencies are corrected. Develops employee communication and training programs that focus on a companywide compliance program. Enforces antibribery and anticompetition laws. Analyzes metrics and audits functional compliance program.
Impact
- Day-to-day supervision of a combination of support/technician and professional staff.
- Implements policies and strategies for short-term results (1 year or less and/or emphasis on supervision of a shift or component of a project) to support the execution of relevant area of business.
Communication
- Responsible for building and maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders; depending on role, would also include clients, patients and their families.
- Presents specialist and technical information to customers, clients, staff, and occasionally senior managers using a variety of communication styles.

- Identifies ideas and implements changes and improvements to working processes within own unit.
- Problems require a reasonable degree of interpretation outside established processes and procedures.
Knowledge
- Problems faced may be difficult but typically are not complex.
