So, are you an experienced public affairs professional with experience working in a corporate environment? Do you have knowledge of EU institutions as well as regulatory processes, including how to interpret and influence the policy agenda? Do you have experience and knowledge of topics related to sustainability, specifically the circular economy? Then keep reading, this could be your chance to come and join our EU team in Brussels.
We’re looking for someone who brings the following:
- A degree in economics, law, politics, or similar.
- Knowledge of the circular economy, waste and related topics.
- Knowledge of how to develop and implement advocacy, communication, and stakeholder engagement strategies by defining, planning, executing, and following up with relevant stakeholders (such as EU policymakers and NGOs), aligning with Ingka’s Global Public Affairs and Advocacy Plan.
- Knowledge of stakeholder mapping and understanding of stakeholder drivers within the key target audiences.
- The ability to communicate complex topics verbally, visually, and in writing in a clear, concise, and inspirational way with an IKEA tone of voice.
- The ability to link closely with the business reality.
- A clear drive to work for Ingka Group IKEA as a purpose-led organization.
