The opportunity
An exciting opportunity to join our Workplace Services Team as an EUC Engineer. In this role you will use your diverse skillset to support activities ranging from in-time pressure situations such as high priority incidents, to projects requiring deep technical thinking and research.
Your new role

In this role you will:

  • Support, design and implement infrastructure technologies and solutions such as: compute, storage, networking, physical infrastructure, software, database, middleware, commercial off the shelf (COTS) and open source packages and solutions, virtual and cloud including IaaS, PaaS and SaaS.
  • Take ownership of problems and proactively resolve technical problems, ensuring that technical solutions continue to meet business requirements, taking full accountability for actions taken and decisions made.
  • Maintain the security, confidentiality and integrity of information systems through compliance with relevant legislation and regulations.
  • Create the specification and design of systems to meet defined business needs. Working with business and technology stakeholders you will translate business problems into technical designs, visualizing the ideal user service and coming up with design ideas and possible design approaches.

About you

  • Use a security mindset in a large company with a complex and highly regulated environment
  • Ability to lead complex technical investigations and pilot concepts
  • Advanced skills and knowledge in operating in a SCCM and Modern Desktop Management environment such as Microsoft Intune
  • Experience working in a large multisite Active Directory and EntralD environment
  • Experience creating packages for large scale deployments Proven knowledge and experience in SOE management and deployment
  • Strong PowerShell scripting skills
  • While not essential, this person would also benefit from:
  • Knowledge and exposure to managing and supporting Cloud-Native Endpoints
  • Knowledge and exposure to Azure, Citrix and experience working with ITIL processes
  • Proven knowledge of the Application support lifecycle, with an understanding of terminology and corresponding Application procedures
