This role requires traveling to various client sites in Glasgow.
Responsibilities:
YOUR FUTURE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Be the face of our tech bar service, traveling to diverse client sites to provide hands-on technical assistance for hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
- Diagnose and resolve a wide range of end-user problems, from device configuration and software glitches to network hiccups, ensuring minimal disruption to productivity.
- Support users with device setup, configuration, and software installations, ensuring devices adhere to security and compliance standards.
- Empower end-users with essential training on device usage, software features, data security best practices, and more.
- Keep meticulous records of technical problems and solutions for future reference, maintaining an accurate inventory of devices and peripherals.
- Deliver exceptional customer service, putting a friendly face to technical support and fostering positive interactions with end-users.
- Continuously improve our tech bar service by sharing insights, proposing innovative solutions, and enhancing the end-user experience.
- Contribute to our knowledge base by creating and updating user-friendly guides and troubleshooting resources.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE
- Proven experience in technical support, IT helpdesk, or a related field.
- Strong proficiency in troubleshooting hardware, software, operating systems, and network connectivity.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to adapt and excel in diverse client environments.
- Familiarity with data security and privacy best practices.
