FIELD SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE – CREW

Crane, Indiana; OCONUS
Candidate should be available to start training approx. September 2024
Expected: 4-8 weeks in Indiana training, then deploy to EUCOM with monthly rotations to AFRICOM lasting 7-10 days per month.
FirstDiv is currently seeking a Field Service Representative (FSR) III to support the Air Force Electronic Warfare (EW) Systems, including but not limited to: JCREW I1B1, MODI, MADS-K, MADIS, Symphony, CVRJ - FMS and JCREW DRAKE. FSRs shall support future Expeditionary EW Systems, as they are fielded. The FSR will field, troubleshoot, repair, and perform routine preventive and corrective maintenance on all components of the EW systems.

SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

The FSR shall have a minimum of three (3) years repair/maintenance experience with advanced military electronic systems at the Field and Depot level, variance of this requirement will be addressed on a case-by-case basis.
1. The FSR shall have repair and maintenance experience specific to the EW/RF family of systems. The FSR shall be certified for at least the basic field maintenance level for the system they will be supporting.
2. The FSR shall have a prior work history that reflects a positive record of past employment.
3. System diagnostic analysis to isolate and identify defective system assemblies.
4. On-site repair or replacement of identified defective external system assemblies.
5. Maintain necessary replacement parts for system repairs.
6. Coordination of systems, equipment, or other items in need of repair.
7. Act as a conduit for operational feedback on the system with special emphasis on human and environmental factors. Feedback will be provided through email correspondence, weekly telephone conferences, and informal dialogue on an as needed basis.
8. Perform all activities relating to testing and inspection of inventory items received and provide a report to the COR and In-Service Engineering Agent (ISEA) with any discrepancies.
9. Shall have experience in theoretical and practical working knowledge of electronics and basic EW systems.
10. Be proficient in the area of electrical safety principles and guidelines, electronic support, maintenance, troubleshooting, and isolating vehicle direct current (DC) power distribution faults and isolate equipment failure to the assembly level. Assembly shall be defined as the EW system unit, power converter, diplexer, antenna(s), internal RF modules, and printed circuit cards. Isolation may also include assemblies called out through the built-in test (BIT) error codes.
11. Capable of replacing circuit breakers and fuses, light bulbs, switches, and damaged RF connectors.

REQUIREMENTS

The FSR shall be a US citizen with an active/current SECRET level security clearance with a valid passport.
FSR will need to demonstrate a Minimum of 12 years EW experience for SOFA status with German Government.

Responsibilities:

The FSRs will provide technical support to end users of EW/RF systems, by training EW officers and individual units on system maintenance and operation, travel to remote forward operating bases to interface with end users of systems, track use and location of systems in theater, report user feedback to the continental United States (CONUS) logistics and engineering teams, and support the system repairs and sustainment of current EW systems, as well as future Expeditionary EW systems, as they become known. The support provided by the FSRs may occur on land at various military installations and at sea on various maritime platforms. Efforts are currently in CENTCOM, EUCOM, and AFRICOM.
FSRs will be deployed to EUCOM with rotations to AFRICOM, duration of deployments will be 6 months to a year.
