Job Description :
The European Account Executive must have a strong understanding of media planning and trading, ideally with experience in a multi-national/cultural environment across different media types and across markets. Depth and strong understanding of digital channels is important. Client management and market liaison are aspects of the role so confidence in these areas is important.
The role includes support in the development and application of planning principles; innovation and media best practices, media performance support, reporting and brand partnerships. This will involve working directly with local agency partners and internal specialist agency divisions.
Within the European Hub there’s a lean over-arching management structure providing overall leadership but importantly also discipline leadership (eg. Data & Analytics, and Digital). The Hub works closely with the many local Havas Media teams.

Mission & Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with local Havas markets & contribute to media strategy conception (paid, owned, earned, shared)
  • Formalize the briefs through the agency system
  • Ensure the delivery of media planning and buying operations for the client portfolio
  • Contribute to client satisfaction – both regionally & locally
  • Participate in clients’ meetings and be responsible of the clients’ reports minutes
  • Follow up the clients’ cases
  • Produce the clients’ media reports and ensure its consistency and alignment with initial objectives
  • Participate in all campaigns reviews & insights
  • Ensure the reconciliation of campaigns with initial brief
  • Work effectively within a multi-cultural regional team responsible for multiple EU markets, taking on unique responsibilities and deliverables, all managed by a senior regional business lead (the EU Account Director)

Previous experience & Industry background

  • Experience in client servicing or media planning
  • Media Industry, Data Industry, Tech Industry, Trading Desk

Qualifications & Languages

  • Master’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Advertising
  • Languages: English (Fluent)

  • Client relationship management
  • Communication and presentation skills
  • Media planning & buying – with knowledge of paid, owned, earned and shared media
