Description:

KEY DELIVERABLES

  • Expand depth and breadth of high yield credit analysis by enabling the team to more cover a larger portion of the investment universe.
  • Provide support and longer-term bench strength for the fixed income business.

Responsibilities:

ROLE PURPOSE:

The European High Yield Credit Research Analyst will provide essential expanded depth, breadth, and research support for management of Impax’s high yield and multi-sector fixed income strategies.

ROLE DIMENSIONS

The European High Yield Credit Research Analyst will provide research support for Senior Credit Research Analysts and Portfolio Managers. The focus will be assisting with primary research including data collection, model building and maintenance as well as monitoring existing positions. Over time, the role could evolve into primary sector coverage responsibility.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

As directed by the assigned Senior Credit Research Analysts or the Co-Heads of Credit Research, primary responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following:

  • Collecting and monitoring company and sector relevant data/news.
  • Building and maintaining proprietary financial models.
  • Participating in quarterly conference calls and communicating relevant developments in both verbal and written form.
  • Making specific investment recommendations based on fundamental credit research and relative value.
  • Contributing to the documentation of new investment ideas.
  • Assisting in ESG related data collection, review, and analysis.
