This is an exciting time to join the First Nations Health Authority as part of the Evaluation Team, as we lead and support large-scale provincial and system-level evaluations of programs, services, policies, partnerships, and agreements, to support strategic decision-making and ongoing transformation of the First Nations health governance structure in accordance with the organization’s mission, vision, and 7 Directives.
Title: Evaluation Analyst II
Salary: $72,841 - $91,051 - $100,156 per year (pay range explained below)
Contract: Permanent
Hours: 37.5 hours Monday to Friday 9:00 am – 5:00 pm (core hours 9am-3pm Mon-Fri)
Location: Lower Mainland – Hybrid working in line with FNHA’s flex work policy.
Responsibilities:
ABOUT THE ROLE
As the Evaluation Analyst II, you will work in accordance with the mission and vision of the First Nations Health Authority, and the 7 Directives. As the evaluation analyst II you will provide evaluation support and services, including: supporting large-scale evaluations; leading and facilitating knowledge gathering activities; conducting data reviews, analyses, and summarizations; producing various knowledge exchange products; and providing input and advice. Occasional travel will be required in this position.
To be successful in this role you will have:
- University Degree in Public Health, Public Policy, Social Sciences or related field with specialization in program evaluation, health, epidemiology, education, or applied research, plus 2 to 4 years of relevant, related experience in program evaluation and reviews, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience
- Ability to conduct appropriate utilization-focused mixed-method structural and program evaluations
- Experience utilizing multiple evaluation methodologies (e.g., developmental, formative, summative, and empowerment)
- Strong expertise in qualitative methods, with familiarity with common qualitative analysis software package (e.g. NVivo
