Description:

Evening Receptionist Monday - Friday 4.30pm -6.30pm - Permanent Hours (Overtime may be available to cover sickness and holidays)

REQUIREMENTS

  • Previous experience in a receptionist or similar public facing role preferred although not essential
  • Excellent clerical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy in note taking and recording
  • Be able to carry out more than one task at a time whilst ensuring nothing is missed
  • Be familiar using computer and related applications. Previous experience of using SystemOne would be ideal but not essential as full in house training on the systems we use will be provided during induction
  • Exceptional communication skills both face to face and on the telephone
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • A friendly personality and calm attitude providing outstanding customer service whilst maintaining patient confidentiality at all times
    Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
    Pay: £11.44 per hour
    Expected hours: 10 per week

Responsibilities:

  • Welcoming patients, medical professionals and visitors to the practice
  • Answer phone calls in a timely manner and directing callers as required
  • Book appointment as directed by clinicians or requested by patients
  • Carry out directions given in tasks ensuring nothing is missed
  • Keep reception area tidy and fully stocked
  • Support all practice staff as needed
  • Carry out any other duties as needed to keep the practice running smoothly (No two days are ever the same!)
