QUALIFICATIONS:

Professional qualification in Business, International Development, Marketing & Communication.

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:

  • University degree in Business, International Development, Marketing & Communication.
  • 3-5 years of work experience in Marketing, Marketing Operations or Marketing agency support for a large complex organization, NGOs experience preferred.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet tight deadlines.
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail and a focus on delivering high-quality work.
  • Budgeting and Financial Management: Ability to plan and manage event budgets.
  • Ability to work well with a team and establish relationships with other teams/offices.
  • Cultural awareness and ability to work well in an international environment with people from diverse backgrounds and cultures.
  • Highly developed interpersonal and English communication skills including influencing and negotiation
  • Excellent time management and planning capacity.

Responsibilities:

ROLE PURPOSE:

To inspire breakthroughs in the way the world treats children, and in line with our theory of change, Save the Children aims to be a credible and powerful voice for children; because of this and in support of the strategic communication of overall organization goals, we believe if marketing communication is critical to build strong Save the Children Indonesia brand.
Under direction of Marketing & Communication Manager, the Campaign & Activation Coordinator will playing critical role on assisting Markom Manager to develop and execute campaigns and activities aimed at generating financial support for the organization’s programs and initiatives. effort that will help brings growth for the organization, and eventually impact for children.

KEY AREAS OF ACCOUNTABILITY:

  • Event Planning and Coordination

Conceptualize, develop, and manage comprehensive event plans, timelines, and schedules. Coordinate all logistics, including venue selection, vendor coordination, and resource allocation. This may include Individual Giving, Corporate partnerships, Grant applications. Prepare detailed event timelines and ensure tasks are completed on schedule. Coordinate with internal teams (marketing, sales, PR) to align event objectives with overall campaigns.

  • Budget Management

Develop and monitor event budgets to ensure cost-effectiveness. Work closely with Procurement team for vendors, suppliers and venue.

  • Execution of Events and Activations

Oversee on-site event execution, including setup, management, and breakdown.

Ensure smooth operations during the event, addressing any issues that arise. Manage teams or volunteers involved in event delivery.

  • Stakeholder and Partner Management

Build and maintain relationships with partners, sponsors, and stakeholders. Ensure that all parties involved are well-informed and aligned with the event’s objectives.

  • Marketing and Promotion

Collaborate with Content team to create promotional plans for events. Assist in the development of event materials, such as invitations, banners, social media posts and other collaterals. Track the effectiveness of event promotions and adjust strategies as needed.

  • Post-Event Analysis

Collect and analyze feedback from participants and stakeholders.

Prepare post-event reports summarizing successes, challenges, and recommendations for future improvements.

  • Ethical and Legal Compliance

Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and ethical standards governing fundraising activities. Uphold principles of transparency, accountability, and donor privacy in all fundraising efforts.
