WHO WE ARE:

Born in sunny San Diego, Blenders Eyewear was forged from fun. It all started in a crowded California club in 2012, when founder Chase was inspired by a simple set of off-brand shades and a dope DJ set. What began as a night with close friends and good tunes turned into a full-blown passion for sunglasses and a belief that great style didn’t have to come with a big price tag.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 1-3 years of retail experience or event related field preferred.
• Passion for delivering exceptional customer service, high energy for extended periods of time.
• Basic understanding of sales techniques.
• Friendly, enthusiastic, and approachable demeanor.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to problem solve and handle customer inquiries effectively.
• Self-motivated with a proactive approach to tasks.

WORK REQUIREMENTS:

• Flexible availability including weekends & nights
• This role calls for the ability to work on a variable schedule. Hours will vary weekly depending on scheduled events from 5 - 20 hours per week.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50lbs. Must be able to stand for 8 hour periods of time. Must be able to sit, stand, reach, and kneel for long periods.
• Work in variable weather conditions.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

Reporting to the Retail Store Manager, the Event Brand Ambassador, is responsible for providing a world-class customer experience at events. This role has a direct and immediate impact on the success of Blenders at our community events. Event Brand Ambassador has a positive attitude, professional vibe and is always willing to go above and beyond for our customers. This is a temporary position from the period of August 2024 through December 2024.
