RFG Advisory is seeking a EVENT COORDINATOR to join our growing team! You will be responsible for coordinating all aspects of RFG hosted events, from initial concept to post-event evaluation, to create seamless and engaging experiences for financial advisors and their clients.
The Event Coordinator demands a meticulous and well-organized professional who can create successful events that meet the specific needs of financial advisors. By executing high-quality seminars, dinners, lunch-n-learns, webinars, and more, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the professional development, networking, and client growth opportunities for financial Advisors within the RFG community. This position requires someone who is detail-oriented, highly organized, and able to juggle multiple projects simultaneously. You will work closely with various departments to ensure that all events align with our company’s strategic goals and brand values.
Location:
This position is located in Birmingham, AL office. We offer a hybrid schedule 3-days in-office, 2 days remote.

Corporate Events Manager

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identifying needs:?Understanding the needs and requirements of each event
  • Planning:?Developing the event’s concept, theme, and program, and creating a timeline
  • Logistics:?Researching and booking venues, organizing suppliers, caterers, staff, and entertainment, and coordinating the setup, teardown, and cleanup
  • Budgeting:?Preparing the event budget, invoices, and payments, and tracking expenses
  • Marketing and communications:?Coordinate with Marketing team on marketing materials, invitations, registration, follow up and developing post-event reports to evaluate effectiveness

Requirements:

Experience:

  • Proven experience in event planning, with a focus on financial industry events being a strong advantage.
  • Large-scale conference planning experience is required.

Skills:

  • Strong project management and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Knowledge of financial industry trends and issues.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Must be technologically proficient and have a willingness and desire to learn new technologies.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

Flexibility to travel and work evenings or weekends as needed
