We are a network of passionate and diverse people united by motivation and commitment to our mission; creating and supporting one-to-one mentoring relationships that ignite the power and promise of youth. Big Brothers Big Sisters of Utah is seeking a dynamic and experienced Event Manager to drive engagement and impact through compelling large-scale fundraising events. In this role, you’ll spearhead the strategic development and implementation of Big Brother Big Sisters of Utah’s three annual fundraising events, with goals focused on sponsorships, donor engagement, community involvement, and brand awareness.
Take charge of developing detailed project plans, cultivating strong sponsor relationships, and managing budgets to ensure events align with organizational goals. Your proactive approach will shine as you lead project planning meetings, develop detailed event timelines, generate sponsorships and registrations, and supervise event volunteers. Leveraging your experience, you’ll expertly navigate high-stress situations, ensuring flawless execution with a creative touch. Your self-starter attitude and attention to detail will be key as you track event performance and collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. If you bring energy to challenges, love to take charge, and have a knack for building trusting relationships, this is the role for you!
