We are now looking for an Event Operations Coordinator to join our team on a fixed term contract basis from August 2024 until February 2025 based from our Tennis West offices - Burwood.
As this is a seasonal contract, we request full availability, particularly flexibility across the summer months of December - February.

About the role
Working closely with the Event Operations Manager, The Event Operations Coordinator will assist with the planning, coordination, and execution of the United Cup in Perth, ensuring all operational aspects are managed efficiently and effectively.
In this role you will:
- Provide general administration support for all operational aspects of the event.
- Build and monitor a comprehensive schedule for movements occurring across all event phases.
- Support the education, training and delivery of tournament services where required, including transport application, accreditation system, electronic meal allowance and practice bookings.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive checklist of all required OH&S documentation required for the event builds including permits, licences, certificates and Safe Work Method Statements.
- Assist with the bump in & bump out of the event.
- Work across various venues during the event period and ensure all operational areas are being delivered effectively.
About you
What you’ll bring to the role:
- Demonstrated experience working in events.
- Degree in Event or Sports Management is desirable.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
- Proven ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.
- Ability to work effectively as a team and contribute to a positive and successful work environment.
- Ability to quickly identify and implement solutions when issues arise.
- You must hold (or be willing to obtain) a current Police Check and Working with Children Check
