Are you considering a career in community management, or want to develop the skills to succeed in recruitment focused roles, event management and business development?
We’re looking for an ambitious and highly organised individual to join our flagship event content team as an intern, working across our Startup, Investor and VIP Programs. You’ll get to hone your research and analysis skills, beef up your network of tech leaders, startup founders and investors, and help develop and execute strategies for event growth - while working to build the best tech festivals in Europe.

The TNW Event Content team curates the programs for our homegrown events and for our strategic event partners. Our flagship, TNW Conference, in its 17th year featured industry trailblazers, including Martin Sorrell, Lila Ibrahim, Jordi von den Bussche and many others. The TNW Conference will be in Amsterdam on June 19 & 20, 2025.

The role

  • Support the Project Lead for our Startup Program, Investor Program and VIP Program in delivery throughout the event cycle
  • Manage and approve applications for each program to develop a curated audience for our flagship event
  • Foster a sense of community among event attendees before, during, and after the event, acting as first point of contact for enquiries.
  • Research to identify leading companies across all three programs
  • Create personalised invitations for individual targets for each program and maintain a tracker of responses
  • Collaborate with our content and marketing teams to ensure smooth project delivery

Your knowledge & skills

  • Currently enrolled in or just graduated from marketing, journalism, sales or business studies, preferably graduate/master level
  • Tech savvy. Able to learn new tools quickly.
  • You’re proactive, a fast learner, and nerdy about organising.
  • Basic data analysis skills, such as tracking and summarising metrics.
  • Fluency in English.
  • Excellent writer of clear copy; familiar with customer service language and eager to learn how to write for different types of audiences
  • Good communication skills.
  • Preferably located in/around London. Must be based in the UK.
  • This internship begins in mid-January / start-February 2025. You are preferably available full-time (35-40 hours per week) until the end of June 2025.
  • Be able to be in Amsterdam during the conference on June 19 & 20, 2025.
