EVENT SALES ASSISTANT MANAGER
£32,000 - £36,000 plus excellent benefits, including up to 10% employer pension contributions and an annual incentive scheme (Work Level 6A)

9-MONTH SECONDMENT
We’re looking for an Event Sales Assistant Manager to join our Partnerships and Events team. You’ll be part of a small team who shape our Pioneer Awards 2025, and we’ll look to you to drive ticket sales and support the delivery of this event.
In this role you’ll ensure the events success through strategic ticket sales management and partner engagement. By leveraging your existing relationships with Co-op suppliers and working closely with the Events Manager, you’ll create memorable experiences for our attendees whilst achieving ambitious sales targets.
Responsibilities:
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
- Manage and drive ticket sales to meet and exceed targets
- Oversee the delivery of the communications plan from start to finish, bringing fresh ideas to enhance sales performance
- Build and maintain strong relationships with Co-op suppliers and partners
- Work with internal stakeholders to integrate needs and permissions seamlessly
- Help develop sponsorship packages and identify and engage new suppliers
- Manage the relationship between our sponsorship sales team and suppliers
- Ensure accurate ticket sales documentation, financial tracking and reporting
- Co-ordinate with agencies and the venue to deliver outstanding sponsorship experiences
THIS ROLE WOULD SUIT PEOPLE WHO HAVE
- Proven experience in sales or a related field
- Strong existing relationships within Co-op supplier network
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
- Excellent partner management and communication
- The ability to thrive and work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a customer-focused approach
