Working closely with the Director of Sales, your role is responsible for securing weddings and catering functions by actively pursuing each opportunity through site inspections, sales calls and client entertainment to ensure conversion.
With a focus on building highly valued relationships with clients that enable achievement of the hotel’s sales objectives, this role is a key contributor to the overall revenue goal and would suit a results driven, dynamic individual.
EXPERIENCE MORE
- Respond to incoming enquiries of weddings, social events, charitable functions, formals, sporting lunches, conferences and more.
- Identifies, qualifies and solicits new catering business to achieve personal and property’s revenue goals
- Uses negotiating skills and creative selling abilities to close on business and negotiate contracts
- Builds and strengthens relationships with existing and new customers to enable future bookings
- Support Sheraton Grand Sydney’s Service and Relationship Strategy, driving customer loyalty by delivering service excellence through each customer experience
