Description:

Divine Events is growing our award-winning team! We are looking for an enthusiastic, energetic, and organized Event Specialists to join our team. The Event Specialist position is an entry level in the world of events. Below is a glimpse of what we are looking for. Under general supervision, you will assist in the coordination and execution of special events, weddings, and non-profit galas. You must be available to work weekends, as needed.

DESCRIPTION

Specific Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the daily growth and development of our company
  • Drive sales and process customer orders at events
  • Develop strong leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Manage inventory, event, and sales paperwork
  • Prepare materials for events (sales materials, giveaways, marketing materials, etc.)
  • Set-up and tear-down events

Requirements:

  • Experience with event planning is a plus, though not a requirement
  • Experience in customer service is required

In addition, candidates must be:

  • Goal and teamwork-oriented
  • Professional, both in appearance and demeanor
  • Meticulously organized and attentive to details
  • Extremely capable of multitasking
  • Decisive yet flexible
  • Consistently punctual
  • Sense of urgency and ability to work under strict deadlines

  • Able to remain calm and think clearly throughout periods of immense stress
  • Able to be constantly on their feet for 8+ hours at a time
  • Able to lift up to 40 pounds
  • Able to function as a team player and to respond to direct and immediate requests from their supervisor
  • Committed to completing any task with excellence and integrity
  • Must be able to work Friday, Saturday, and some Sundays
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and other applications is preferred
  • Must have reliable transportation with insurance
  • Must have access to a laptop
