Description:

Step into the spotlight with this amazing role in our sales team. We’re seeking an event sponsorship sales manager to help us revolutionize the Australian B2B event scene with your creative flair and commercial ideas.

The position involves:

  • driving the commercial development for a portfolio of B2B events in the Australian market
  • selling sponsorship for award-winning conferences and awards nights
  • cultivating new business opportunities and managing existing accounts across Australia
  • working closely with a range of people across the company (sales, marketing and event logistics) to develop new commercial avenues for the events
  • attending events across Australia and NZ
  • potential to manage the portfolio of events, with opportunities for people management where required, guiding a talented team to achieve excellence
  • contributing your creative ideas and lead efforts to reinvent and innovate our events, ensuring they remain fresh, engaging, and impactful
  • creating and implementing new event concepts that engage our sponsors and set industry trends.
  • 12 month maternity contract with the strong possibility of extension

The successful candidate will be:

  • an experienced sponsorship sales executive
  • passionate about working in events
  • able to help new and existing clients see the value in sponsorship campaigns
  • a team player with a track record of positive internal stake holder management
  • someone with a clear, concise and positive communication style
