Description:

The ideal candidate should possess practical experience in styling high-end events or similar projects. This experience will enable the candidate to navigate the intricacies of event design, décor, lighting, and furniture styling with finesse and creativity. A key requirement for this role is a strong aesthetic sense and the ability to translate concepts into visually stunning event experiences.
In addition to a keen eye for design, candidates should demonstrate the capacity to work efficiently under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and be willing to put in long hours when necessary to ensure the successful execution of events.
You must be comfortable working within existing processes and be willing to work collaboratively with the styling and client service teams. Candidates should be proactive in bringing fresh ideas and innovative solutions to the table, contributing to the continuous growth of Urbantonic’s event design offerings.

REQUIREMENTS:

Matric or post-matric qualification
Design suitable mood boards
Computer literate, particularly in Microsoft Office including Excel, Word etc.
Willing to work outside of standard working hours
Familiarity with floral and an eye for style
Strong work ethic
Ability to work well under pressure
Attention to detail
Great organisational skills
Good communication skills, written and verbal
Creativity
Good time management
Valid code eight driver’s licence
‘Can do’ attitude

Responsibilities:

Overall planning of events. including conceptualisation, planning, budgeting, implementation and execution.
Creating mood boards with various look and feel’s
Sourcing and shopping for specific events
General office administration
Liaising with clients, suppliers and colleagues in other divisions
Generate quotes and invoicing for clients
